# Sane Compute

> Sane Compute is an independent, buyer-side procurement service for AI infrastructure, based in Lisbon and working with buyers across Europe. It helps companies source, compare and negotiate GPU servers, GPU clusters, AI compute, networking, storage and colocation. It represents the buyer, not the vendor, and does not hold inventory or resell hardware.

## What Sane Compute does
- Takes a buyer's AI infrastructure requirement to market and identifies qualified suppliers (OEMs, system integrators, distributors, GPU cloud providers, colocation providers).
- Makes supplier proposals comparable on a like-for-like basis, technically and commercially.
- Runs a competitive process and negotiates price, delivery, warranty, support and commercial terms on the buyer's behalf.
- Reviews existing quotes before the buyer signs.

## What Sane Compute does not do
- Does not sell, resell or hold inventory of hardware or cloud capacity.
- The buyer contracts and pays the selected supplier directly.
- Does not replace the buyer's engineering or procurement team; it works alongside them.

## Commercial model
- Fees are agreed with the buyer upfront.
- Where a clear commercial baseline exists (for example an existing quote), Sane Compute can work on a shared-savings basis: no verified savings, no success fee.
- Where no baseline exists, a fixed project fee is agreed.
- NDAs are signed before reviewing requirements, bills of materials or quotes.
- Typical purchase size: from around €50,000 upwards.

European organisations preparing a meaningful, non-routine AI infrastructure purchase without a specialist AI infrastructure procurement function, for example AI-native companies, robotics and computer vision companies, healthcare and regulated AI, industrial AI and research organisations.
